Our Split box springs come in 2 pieces and make it very easy to transport through tight spaces. Perfect for basements, attics, or very tight bedrooms upstairs.
Our quality box springs are made of a solid wood frame with a unifying sheet on the surface and full fabric upholstery.
The box springs contain no springs so there is no movement, and no creaking that would normally occur over time with metal springs.
The immobility of the box spring allows the mattress to perform to its best abilities.

BENEFITS OF SOLID WOOD BOX SPRINGS
The box spring has a unique and important function. Not only is it used to raise the mattress's height, making it easier to get in and out of bed, it's flat and firm surface also supports your mattress, absorbs shock, and reduces general wear. The spaces between the wood slats, the breathable sheet and the thin fabric upholstery keeps the box spring ventilated, allowing body moisture and heat buildup to escape. This reduces mildew and mould, unwanted odours, and keeps your sleeping space as fresh as possible.
Traditional box springs were made with metal springs, which were sufficient enough for the mattresses used at the time. Nowadays with the heavier memory foam and latex mattresses, a sturdier and durable solution was found with the use of wood over metal. Metal springs over time would bend, rust, creak, and even break, unable to hold the weight of heavier mattresses and shock absorbing over time.
